This animation is available to demonstrate "How to administer" GlaxoSmithKline's H1N1 vaccines. Governments can use this animation to support the training they are giving health care professionals
IMPORTANT NOTE: GSK manufactures and supplies two different adjuvanted pandemic H1N1 vaccines – Pandemrix and Arepanrix, both of which are presented as multi-dose vials of separate antigen and adjuvant which must be mixed together prior to use. The following animated demonstrations are intended for healthcare professionals as guidance on the correct method of preparation and administration of the vaccine. It is important to select the video which corresponds to the vaccine which you are using – either Pandemrix or Arepanrix.
Additionally, in some countries, at the request of the relevant regulatory authority, the multi-dose vaccine vials are supplied together with stickers for insertion in individual patients’ notes to assist healthcare professionals’ record-keeping and for identification of vaccine lot numbers used for each patient. Separate videos are available for healthcare professionals using vaccine supplied with, and without these stickers.
Please select the demonstration appropriate to the vaccine you are using:
